La Poule - french for "the hen" are a family of art work are now produced by Adrien Caillard, Heidi Caillard's son, who brings a similar vibrance, humor and simple elegance to the chicken as his mother did to the guinea hen. The hens are available in three sizes - small, medium and large. They are also available in two glaze finishes, a black with white feather markings and a white with subtle grey feather markings. The crown and beak are in shades of red and brown. The shape of la Poule is full and round, a hen fluffed up to sit on a nest or enjoy a warm day in the south of France or your living room. The small is 6 3/4" tall, the medium is 8 1/2" tall and the large is 10 1/2" tall. We ship the chickens for free in the US, fully insured, as part of your purchase.
