If you have driven by our store on Route 1 between Belfast and Searsport, Maine at the Head of Penobscot Bay, you have probably seen our newest addition "Rusty". Rusty is one of a series of steel dog sculptures called "Big Dog" by metal sculptor Dale Rogers. He has brought many a smile to weary travellers and has had excellent response from our patrons. Dale Rogers continues to produce other pieces of "Big Dog" and they are available from the Yankee Trader with shipping included in the Continental US. "Big Dog" stands about 4 feet high and 5 feet long. He is made from welded sheet steel. The front paws sit on a dog-bone shaped base. He can be left outside in all weather and he can also be used for indoor sculpture (he is also available in Stainless Steel - ask us for a quote). Please allow 6 to 8 weeks from order to arrival. These are usually made to order in Mr. Rogers studios in southern New England.
