This wonderful 10" tall vase in Fenton Burmese Glass was limited to only Fenton Silver Showcase Dealers, and to only 225 total pieces in the limited edition for all dealers. We are now closing out on this special piece! The characteristic soft yellow tone and pink blush of Burmese Glass, made by reheating the moulded glass in a furnace to bring out the gold in the mix, makes this a very special piece. No two will be exactly alike. Frances Burton designed the poppies motif for this vase and it complements her earlier "poppies" pieces ( a lamp in 2005, and a wonderful hat basket). We ship Fenton Art Glass for free in the US and we do not charge sales tax on items shipped outside of the State of Maine. |
